Job Description:
A client of Insight Global is seeking a Lead Mechanical Engineer to join their team. This individual will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of 4-5 junior engineers while providing mechanical engineering support across a variety of federal programs. The role will include both hands-on mechanical engineering work and the performance of engineering analyses. We are seeking someone with 8-10 years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience and 4-5 years of leadership experience managing and developing engineering teams.
Requirements:
- 8-10 years of hands on mechanical engineering experience xhyhwjd
- Ideally 5 years in a leadership role
- FEA using ANSYS for analysis experience
- AutoCAD 2D & 3D experience
- Creo or Solidworks -DoD experience and has an understanding of MIL Standards
- Ability to obtain a US Clearance
