Job Description:
- The Sr. Data Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring the accuracy, consistency, and integrity of customer master data across SAP and related platforms for both medical device and pharmaceutical business units.
- This position partners closely with cross-functional teams to support data governance, process improvement, and system integrations while driving operational efficiency and data quality.
- Manage day-to-day master data activities in coordination with the Team Lead.
- Support data governance standards, data quality, and data integrity initiatives.
- Oversee customer master data creation, maintenance, and data cleansing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and quality metrics.
- Serve as SME for master data during system integrations and enhancements.
- Provide backup support for pricing, licensing updates, rebate accruals, and compliance activities.
- Assist with audits by providing accurate documentation in a timely manner.
- Participate in continuous process improvement initiatives.
- Support management with ad hoc reports and special projects.
- Act as backup for group mailbox and SME portal support.
- Strong understanding of Master Data Management (MDM) and data governance frameworks (3-5 years).
- Experience with data quality tools, reporting, and data cleansing techniques (3-5 years).
- Intermediate to advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, formulas, large datasets).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- SAP experience.
- Bachelor's degree plus 5+ years of experience (or equivalent work experience).
- 3+ years of pharmaceutical or medical device industry experience required.
- Management experience preferred.
