Job Summary:

We are seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our team at Aviata Health Group in Englewood, Florida. As a CNA, you will deliver direct care to residents and patients, prioritizing their wellbeing and ensuring they maintain their dignity and independence.

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Responsibilities:

• Caring for the personal needs, safety, and comfort of our residents
• Assisting residents with activities of daily living, including wardrobe, personal hygiene, and mobility
• Aiding in daily tasks, such as laundry, transportation, and mail delivery
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Observing and reporting changes in residents' condition and status
• Conducting rounds to monitor for hazards or incidents
• Assisting in dining, including escorting residents to the dining room, serving, and clean up
• Companionship and conversation
• Other duties as assigned

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Must be 18 years of age
• Florida CNA license
• Ability to read and communicate at an adequate level to perform essential job duties
• Ability to treat and care for seniors and their property with dignity and respect
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Caregivers must complete our new hire orientation
