Assistant Physical Therapist

Responsibilities Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and therapeutic exercises. Monitor and document patient progress and report to supervising therapist. Prepare and maintain treatment areas and equipment. Educate patients and their families on therapy techniques and home exercises. Follow all safety and infection control protocols. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a healthcare team. Prior experience in a rehabilitation or long-term care setting preferred. CPR certification is a plus.
