We are expanding our team and are looking for experienced, motivated Low Voltage Technicians to work on commercial projects throughout Saint Lucie and Martin Counties.If you take pride in quality workmanship, enjoy working with a professional team, and want long-term career opportunities, we'd like to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesInstall, terminate, label, and test Cat5e, Cat6, and Cat6A cabling.Install and terminate fiber optic cabling, including fusion splicing and testing.Install cable tray, ladder rack, backboards, sleeves, J-hooks, and support systems.Perform firestopping in accordance with code requirements.Install and splice high-pair copper backbone cable.Test and certify structured cabling systems using Fluke DSX-8600 testers and OTDR equipment.Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.Maintain accurate documentation and test reports.Perform site surveys and identify cable pathways.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site.Communicate professionally with project managers, customers, and other trades.QualificationsMinimum 3 years of commercial low-voltage installation experience.Experience with structured cabling and fiber optic systems.Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings.Knowledge of TIA/EIA standards and industry best practices.Experience using Fluke certification equipment.BICSI or manufacturer certifications are a plus.Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from ladders and lifts.BenefitsCompetitive pay based on experience.Weekly payroll.Paid Time Off (PTO).Voluntary Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance.Ongoing manufacturer and industry training.Opportunities for advancement.Stable, year-round employment with an established company.Why Jade Communications?For more than three decades, Jade Communications has built a reputation for quality workmanship, integrity, and customer satisfaction.
