Fellowship-Trained Breast Radiologist

\nAbout the Opportunity
\nAdvance breast healthcare with CHRISTUS Health, a leading provider of comprehensive, faith-based medical services. We are seeking a fellowship-trained Breast Radiologist to join our dynamic, collaborative team in Shreveport, Louisiana.
\nIn this role, you will utilize state-of-the-art imaging technology to deliver precise, patient-centered care. You will work closely with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to impact patient outcomes directly.
\nKey Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Interpret modalities: Read screening and diagnostic mammograms (2D and 3D/tomosynthesis). \n
- Analyze imaging: Evaluate breast ultrasound and breast MRI scans. \n
- Perform procedures: Conduct image-guided biopsies (stereotactic, ultrasound, and MRI-guided) and localizations. \n
- Collaborate multidisciplinary: Participate regularly in breast tumor boards with surgeons and oncologists. \n
- Drive quality: Contribute directly to clinical quality improvement and optional teaching initiatives. \n
Qualifications & Requirements
\n- \n
- Education: Hold an M.D. or D.O. degree. \n
- Training: Complete an accredited breast imaging fellowship. \n
- Certification: Board-certified or board-eligible in Diagnostic Radiology. \n
- Licensure: Eligible for an unrestricted Louisiana medical license. \n
- Skills: Strong communication skills with a focus on empathetic, patient-centered care. \n
