Schedule: Day shift, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, 12-hour shifts

Highlights:

• 24-bed Emergency Department with experienced team of 45 clinical staff members
• Patient ratio of 4:1, with manageable surge protocols (5:1 during high census)
• EMR system: Meditech / CPN with GE monitoring equipment
• Collaborative team structure with dedicated charge nurse, EMT support, and unit clerk on day shift
• Exposure to diverse ED procedures including point-of-care testing, EKG, IV access, and port management
• Travel nursing opportunity with competitive assignment terms

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of current hospital Emergency Department experience
• Active RN license in good standing
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS (or ENPC), TNCC, NIH, and CPI Blue Card
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience preferred
• CEN certification, CPEN certification, and/or US IV competency highly desirable
• Strong clinical skills in venipuncture, IV starts, port access, nasal wash, Foley placement, and EKG interpretation
