Accounts Payable ClerkHyundai of Central Florida is seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing team! Since opening in 1970, Mullinax Automotive has grown to be among of the nation's top-volume vehicle retailers. We have 12 dealerships including Ford, Hyundai, Genesis, Buick GMC, and Cadillac in Florida, Alabama and Washington. This is a great opportunity to work closely with a great team and gain experience in the Automotive Industry.Job Responsibilities:Prepares work to be accomplished by gathering and sorting documents and related information.Pays invoices by verifying transaction information, scheduling, preparing disbursements, and obtaining authorization of payment.Obtains revenue by verifying transaction information, computing charges, and refunds, and preparing and mailing invoices.Prepares financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.Maintains accounting ledgers by posting account transactions.Verifies accounts by reconciling statements and transactions.Resolves account discrepancies by investigating documentation, issuing stop payments and adjustments.Maintains financial security by following internal accounting controls.Secures financial information by completing database backups.Maintains financial historical records by filing accounting documents.Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.Other duties as assigned.Skills & Requirements:Basic administrative tasksAble to work in team environmentIntermediate Microsoft Excel skillsAttention to detailAutomotive industry experience a plusMust be able to pass a background screening and drug testComprehensive benefits package including Health, Life, Dental, and Vision insurance, paid vacation and holidays, 401k with company matching and more.Schedule:Full-timeMonday to FridayEducation:High School DiplomaExperience:Bookkeeping/Accounting experience3 or more years working in an office environmentWe are a Drug Free Work Place and an Equal Opportunity Employer.
