Job Summary
The organization is seeking a Mammographer located in Key West, Florida. This role involves providing diagnostic imaging services, including screening and diagnostic mammography, needle localization, and specimen imaging. The Technologist will work under the supervision of a Radiologist and departmental protocols to deliver high-quality imaging services to inpatient and outpatient populations. The position is targeted to start shortly and offers a 13-week contract.

Job Details

• Shift: Days, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Schedule: 8 hours per day, minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Florida Radiologic Technologist license, American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Mammography certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, 1+ years of recent mammography experience, must have secured housing at time of acceptance, AHCA license required for Florida placements.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience performing routine mammography procedures including screening and diagnostic exams, needle localization, and specimen imaging.
• Additional Information: The Mammography Technologist is responsible for performing basic radiographic procedures, fluoroscopy, portable radiographic procedures, C-arm procedures, and operating room imaging services. The role requires proficiency in screening and diagnostic mammography, along with experience in needle localization and specimen imaging.
