Vice President, Third Party Application Engineering – Eagle PerformanceWe’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Third Party Application Engineering – Eagle Performance to join our Performance & Compliance Engineering team. This role is located in Boston, MA. The ideal candidate will bring strong experience with Eagle PACE Performance, investment data workflows, and performance reporting. In this role, you will partner across business and technology teams to define requirements, analyze workflows and data dependencies, and deliver scalable solutions for data ingestion, performance calculation, reporting, and operational processing.In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Partner with business and technology teams to gather requirements and translate business needs into functional requirements, process flows, user stories, and acceptance criteriaAnalyze and document performance workflows, reporting processes, data lineage, business rules, and control pointsWork with financial data domains supporting performance processing and reporting, including holdings, transactions, pricing, FX, benchmark, reference, cash activity, corporate actions, and account dataConfigure, maintain, and document Eagle PACE Performance calculation setup, parameters, system settings, and related controlsSupport performance measurement workflows, including calculation, validation, reconciliation, and reportingPartner with engineering and data teams on data integration, warehouse mapping, and downstream reporting solutionsValidate calculation outputs, reconciliations, data quality checks, and reporting resultsEnsure consistent business definitions across Eagle, reporting platforms, and downstream consumersLead testing, implementation, and change management for new and enhanced workflows and reporting capabilitiesTo be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.Typically 6-10 years of experience.Strong experience with Eagle PACE Performance or related Eagle platforms, including data flows, business processes, performance workflows, and reporting.Experience in performance measurement, performance reporting, or investment operations.Understanding of performance calculation concepts, data inputs, configuration dependencies, and controls.Strong understanding of financial data used in performance and reporting.Experience documenting workflows, system interactions, data mappings, and functional requirements.Strong SQL skills for validating data, reporting logic, and calculation outputs; Python is a plus.Experience with data integration, APIs, data warehousing, ETL/ELT, and downstream reporting solutions.Experience with reconciliations, exception handling, and workflow/data quality controls in financial data environments.Experience working in Agile environments.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across business, operations, and technology teams.At BNY, our culture allows us to run our company better and enables employees’ growth and success.
