Clinical Specialist II

Abbott seeks a Clinical Specialist II to provide engineering, clinical, and technical support for electrophysiology products. The role involves training healthcare professionals, supporting field sales operations, and serving as a clinical liaison between the medical community and the business in Orlando, Florida.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering, sales, education and clinical support responding to field inquiries on electrophysiology products
• Develop, lead and facilitate training programs for healthcare professionals on EP products
• Provide regional procedural case coverage and back-up support to sales representatives
• Deliver insights and market feedback to management for next-generation product development
• Remain current on regulatory requirements, competitor products and industry trends

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in biomedical engineering or related field, or equivalent healthcare experience
• Minimum 6 months experience as a Clinical Specialist
• Minimum 2 years clinical experience in healthcare or industry competitor roles
• Ability to obtain EP product certification and vendor credentialing requirements
• Average of 15+ mapped cases monthly for 6-12 consecutive months as primary mapper
• Primary mapper experience on complex cases for 6+ months with minimum 3 complex cases
• Demonstrated ability to increase utilization of Abbott mapping and ablation tools

Compensation: $61,300–$122,700 base
