• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients in inpatient or outpatient settings and create personalized treatment plans
• Implement physical therapy interventions designed to enhance mobility, strength, balance, and everyday function
• Work in tandem with nurses, doctors, case managers, and other rehabilitation professionals to maximize patient outcomes
• Guide patients and their families on therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise routines
• Maintain meticulous documentation of evaluations, treatments, and progress per facility and regulatory requirements
• Engage in care team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure well-coordinated patient care

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an Equivalent Degree

• Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or an equivalent degree from an accredited program

State Licensure as a Physical Therapist

• State licensure as a Physical Therapist
• CPR certification is preferred
