Embroidery Lead Operator

We are looking for an experienced Embroidery Lead Operator to oversee daily embroidery operations, operate embroidery machines, and ensure all products meet quality standards. This role involves coordinating production tasks, supporting team members, monitoring orders, and working closely with the Embroidery Supervisor to meet production deadlines. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with overtime as needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and set up embroidery machines and select the appropriate threads and materials for each order.
• Coordinate daily production activities with the Embroidery Supervisor.
• Assign tasks and provide guidance and support to embroidery team members.
• Monitor production orders and provide updates on in-house and local projects.
• Review order specifications to ensure products meet customer requirements.
• Inspect finished garments to maintain quality standards and resolve production issues.
• Track embroidery supplies and assist with inventory and reordering materials.
• Respond to embroidery-related inquiries through email.
• Coordinate completed orders with the Pick and Pack and Cycle Counts teams.
• Ensure production deadlines and daily goals are met.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous embroidery experience required.
• Experience operating embroidery machines and using embroidery software.
• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work full-time and overtime as needed.

Work Environment & Physical Requirements

• Work in a production environment with moderate noise levels.
• Ability to sit, stand, walk, reach, and use hands throughout the workday.
• Ability to work extended hours during busy production periods.
• Good vision and attention to detail for inspecting garments, samples, and colors.
