As a Machinist Level 2 here at Honeywell Aerospace, you will be responsible for operating and setting up machining equipment to produce precision parts that meet quality and specification standards. You will apply your machining skills to support production processes while ensuring safety and efficiency in the work environment.

You will report directly to our Production Supervisor and you'll work out of our Greer, SC location on an On-site work schedule. (2nd shift) 4pm - 2am M-TH

In this role, you will impact the manufacturing operations by producing high-quality components that contribute to Honeywell's commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate and set up machine tools including CNC and manual machines to produce parts according to blueprints and specifications.
• Perform quality checks on machined parts to ensure they meet dimensional and surface finish requirements.
• Maintain machinery and perform basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime and support continuous production.
• Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Collaborate with team members and engineering to improve machining processes and efficiency.

YOU MUST HAVE

• Proven experience operating and setting up CNC and manual machine tools in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, precision measurement tools, and machining processes.
• Experience performing quality inspections to ensure parts meet specifications.
• Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues and perform routine maintenance.
• Familiarity with safety standards and best practices in machining operations.

WE VALUE

• Associate degree or technical certification in machining or manufacturing technology.
• 2+ years of experience in precision machining roles.
• Knowledge of CNC programming and CAD/CAM software is a plus.
