Product Support Specialist

Job Overview:

The Marvin Technical Support Department delivers exceptional, timely, and professional support to customers by providing expert guidance on product capabilities, limitations, special pricing, and estimating. This team collaborates cross-functionally with departments such as Manufacturing, R&D, Quality, Engineering, Purchasing, and Signature Services to ensure accurate and efficient solutions.

A core objective of the department is responsiveness. Faced with complex and highly specific customer requests, the team strives to meet exact specifications or, when not feasible, offer well-considered alternative solutions.

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding product capabilities, limitations, and specifications
• Prepare pricing, estimates, structural analyses, and AutoCAD drawings
• Solve complex, customized, and non-recurring challenges using creative problem-solving
• Collaborate cross-functionally to align product options with production capabilities
• Support and educate dealers, channel partners, and trade professionals
• Contribute to departmental goals tied to accuracy, responsiveness, and service quality

• Associate or bachelors degree preferred, ideally in Engineering, Drafting, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in a related field or in estimating, drafting or construction
• Experience in AutoCAD (we do provide training), and Microsoft Office is a plus
• Strong communication skills and a solid understanding of the construction industry

• Technical curiosity and the ability to quickly learn Marvin products and systems
• A self-directed approach to managing priorities, deadlines, and details
• A collaborative mindset with sound business judgment
• A solution-oriented perspective and comfort with ambiguity
