Job Summary The Practice Coordinator manages front office daily activities for the practice location, ensuring quality customer service to in‑person and remote patients and clinicians. Compensation: $18‑19.50 per hour, plus quarterly bonus/incentive potential. Location: 2530 Meridian Pkwy #115, Durham, NC 27713. Responsibilities Operational Excellence – Create a positive work environment, conduct schedule prep, manage office logistics, maintain cleanliness, and support staff engagement. Patient Support – Greet patients, manage check-in/out, respond to phone, email, and portal inquiries, handle billing and payment collection, verify insurance eligibility, provide telehealth support, triage urgent issues, and resolve problems. Clinician Support – Assist clinicians with administrative tasks, coordinate schedules, manage communications, audit appointment accuracy, and maintain a secure, motivational workplace. Required Skills and Experience Ability to multitask and prioritize duties to support high-quality patient experience. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Proficient in Microsoft Office and EMR systems. Comfortable handling sensitive and confidential information (HIPAA). Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s or bachelor’s degree preferred. Minimum 1 year of experience in healthcare operations, customer service, or a similar role or setting. Physical Requirements Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, talk, and hear. Frequently required to walk and lift up to 25 pounds. Requires close, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision, and ability to adjust focus.
