Department Supervisor

Advance Products & Systems, LLC is seeking a Department Supervisor who will be responsible for all functions of the department. Responsibilities include overseeing and managing the daily operations of the department, monitoring and managing the daily production schedule to ensure on-time shipments, providing daily guidance and direction to the production personnel and maintaining a positive environment, communicating clear expectations to production personnel, monitoring attendance, punctuality and start/stop times during break, maintaining safe and clean work environment and equipment, ensuring all tools and equipment are in good working order, ensuring the department is continuously producing quality products, and promoting and enforcing compliance to all company policies and procedures.

Skills and requirements include 3-5 years of experience in a management/leadership role in a manufacturing and assembly environment, 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, strong leadership and management skills, knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods, some machining operation experience, basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and computer skills, ISO/API Quality System knowledge required, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
