Registered Nurse - Gastroenterology

Position Overview United Health Services is currently seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) Staff Nurse to join our Gastroenterology (GI) team at Binghamton General Hospital. The GI RN Staff Nurse plays a critical role in protecting, promoting, and optimizing the health and abilities of our patients. This role is responsible for delivering direct nursing care within the Gastroenterology (GI) setting, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care, and monitoring patient status with timely response to changes in condition. The RN also provides education to patients and families regarding procedures, treatments, and recovery, while ensuring accurate, timely documentation in accordance with regulatory and organizational standards.
