Category Warehouse Operations Responsibilities Supervise all associates reporting to the position to effectively recruit, train, evaluate, motivate, delegate, and monitor their activities, performance, and safety Monitor and coach associates on productivity pace and methods; provide timely and ongoing feedback to encourage good performance and safe work methods Facilitate improvements to workflow by evaluating current system interactions and adherence to established Standard Operating Procedures Plan and prioritize daily workload to achieve established productivity standards and meet service goals Act as a safety officer and report any unsafe acts or accidents Prioritize workload for unloading and loading containers as per the needs of the business Update statuses of containers and keep the flow of work to the dock including yard moves Address concerns from the warehouse team and work to resolve issues Qualifications PC skills – Microsoft Office Ability to read, comprehend, analyze, and interpret general business information Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and multi‑task on a regular basis Strong sense of urgency and time management to meet deadlines Physical Requirements This job requires occasional standing, sitting, and walking. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Temperature can range in the warehouse between 30‑65 degrees Fahrenheit.
