MIG Welder – Basin Holdings, Easley, SC Location: Basin Material Handling (Easley, SC) Department: Weld Reports to: Weld Supervisor FLSA Status: Non-Exempt EEO Classification: Laborer Pay Range: $18-$22/hour based on experience/skill Primary Purpose Successful candidates are expected to comply with general attendance policies and safety policies and procedures. The candidate can perform a variety of welding functions and is familiar with and capable of using various types of welding equipment. Responsibilities include maintaining quality, following the JobBoss process, and reporting accurate quantities. Essential Duties Manually guide electrode or gun along the weld line, maintaining arc length and movement speed to form the specified depth of fusion and bead, as judged from the color of the metal, sound of the weld, and size of the molten puddle. Other Duties Assist other departments as required or directed. May act as a line leader, set up lines, and check weld quality of co‑workers as required. Other duties as assigned. Minimum Experience and Qualifications Perform simple shop math and convert decimals to fractional equivalents. Read a calibrated tape measure. Read and interpret blueprints. Read and interpret documents finished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and quality and procedure manuals. Experience 6 months required in welding. 3 years preferred in welding, reading blueprints, and checking weld quality. #J-18808-Ljbffr Itlearn360
