Job Description:

The registered nurse will work in a 39-bed mixed ICU unit that includes MICU, SICU, CICU, and TICU. Nurses will manage complex ICU patients with varied diagnoses including ARDS, MI, CVA/TIA, COVID, post-surgical, and trauma. Cardiac experience is preferred but not required. Nurses must be able to float to ED or other adult floors if needed. Often care for patients within a 1:1, 1:2, or rarely 1:3 ratio depending on acuity.

Responsibilities:

• Provide care for complex ICU patients.
• Coordinate with a multi-disciplinary team including CNAs, respiratory therapists, and physicians.
• Manage advanced equipment including IV medications, hemodynamic lines, ventilators, and telemetry.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience, excluding travel experience.
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Completion of a board-approved nursing education program.
• Experience with Epic charting system is required.
• Willingness to work 48-hour weeks and float to different units as necessary.
