Job Description
Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking an experienced Physical Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will work primarily in an acute care setting, with responsibilities that include managing patient care on mid-level critical care floors, medical surgical floors, and orthopedic units. The role may occasionally require evaluation and treatment in an inpatient rehab unit.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy services to patients primarily in inpatient rehabilitation.
• Manage and document care for an average of four patients in the inpatient rehab facility, ensuring completion of necessary documentation within an 8-hour workday.
• Collaborate with a team of Physical Therapists, Speech Language Pathologists, and Occupational Therapists to deliver comprehensive patient care.
• Flexibility to cover weekend shifts, as planned in advance, to meet operational demands.
• Occasional coverage in orthopedic and medical surgical floors as needed.

Schedule

The schedule is negotiable, with hours available between 7:30 AM and 6:00 PM. Options include full-time 10-hour shifts or standard 8-hour shifts, with potential for weekend coverage based on mutual agreement.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Physical Therapist.
• BLS Certification required.
• Must be efficient and capable of working independently without the need for extensive training.
• Willingness to treat patients in an inpatient rehab unit is essential.

Team Dynamics

As part of a dedicated team of six Physical Therapists on weekdays and one to three on weekends, you will work collaboratively to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Your contributions will play a vital role in delivering high-quality therapy services within our facility.
