Job Description
Join Our Dynamic Emergency Department Team!

Job Description:


- Unit: Emergency Department
- Environment: Large, high-acuity facility with 80 treatment spaces in a modern setting.
- Team: Join an experienced, collaborative, and supportive group with strong leadership.
- Patient Care Focus: Be part of a team dedicated to high-quality patient care, including specialized geriatric emergency care in our ACEP accredited geriatric ED.


Shift Information:


- Nights: 12-hour shifts (3P-3A / 7P-7A rotation)
- Hours: 36 hours per week
- Weekend Requirement: One weekend shift per contracted week or two weekend shifts every other weekend.
- Holiday Requirement: Must work at least 1 holiday per contract.

Scheduling:


- Blocked Scheduling: Option for a rotating blocked schedule upon request.
- Fixed Block Schedule: Available for Thurs/Fri/Sat, Fri/Sat/Sun, or Sat/Sun/Mon.

On-Call Requirements:


- Not required but highly recommended: Optional on-call shifts averaging 2 hours per contracted week.
- On-call Shifts: Can be picked up in 4, 8, 12, or 16 hour blocks between 7P-7A.

Required Experience:


- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent nursing experience.
- Work History: 2 years of U.S. work history required for non-U.S. candidates.

Licenses and Certifications:


- Active New York RN License
- NIH Certification
- AHA BLS Certification

Contract Duration:


- 16 weeks


Charting:


- EPIC

Miscellaneous:


- Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility.

Guaranteed Hours:


- Contract Weeks: 112
