Senior Applied AI Engineer

We're looking for a Senior Applied AI Engineer to join our delivery team and build AI systems that solve real business problems for enterprise clients. You'll work across the full stack of applied AI — from designing LLM-powered applications and ML pipelines to deploying them in production environments.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role. You'll be embedded with client teams, working directly with stakeholders to understand their problems and shipping solutions that deliver measurable impact. We move fast, hold a high bar for engineering quality, and expect you to own your work end-to-end.

What You'll Do

• Design, build, and deploy ML and LLM-powered applications for enterprise clients
• Own the full lifecycle of AI solutions — from prototyping and experimentation to production deployment and monitoring
• Work directly with client teams to translate business problems into technical solutions
• Build and optimize data pipelines, model serving infrastructure, and evaluation frameworks on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Communicate progress, trade-offs, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Contribute to internal tooling, best practices, and knowledge sharing across the team

What We're Looking For

• 4+ years of experience building ML applications, with a strong mathematics and statistics foundation
• Hands-on experience with NLP and LLM-based systems — prompt engineering, fine-tuning, RAG, and agent architectures
• Solid software engineering fundamentals — you write clean, testable, production-grade code
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and building scalable, reliable systems
• High drive for results — you thrive under tight deadlines and manage urgency without cutting corners
• Clear communicator, both written and spoken — comfortable in client-facing settings and practicing radical candor within the team
• First-principles thinker who can dissect complex problems and find innovative solutions
• Genuinely curious about AI — you keep up with emerging trends and bring new ideas to the table
