Associate Veterinarian

Snodgrass Veterinary Medical Center, a thriving privately owned practice in Bowling Green, KY, is seeking a full or part-time Associate Veterinarian. We are a well-established practice of 30+ years of service to the southcentral Kentucky area. We currently have three full-time vets and a terrific, highly skilled support staff. The majority of our staff have been with us for 6 years or more. We seek an enthusiastic veterinarian who values a team environment and is committed to the highest quality of care. We offer mentorship and case collaboration among all of our veterinarians. Snodgrass boasts fully equipped facilities with all the tools necessary for high-quality practice: ultrasound, digital radiographs, ultrasound, therapeutic laser, in-house labs, digital dental radiographs, mobile vet vehicle, portable ultrasound/radiograph, haul-in large animal facilities. Our clinic offers full service for small animals, including soft tissue and some orthopedic surgeries, as well as medical cases and preventative care. Current case load is 90% small animal, 5% small exotics, 5% equine/small ruminant. We welcome the opportunity to grow in any direction, and the candidate has autonomy to choose species that they service. Full-time employment is a 4-day work with 1 half Saturday per month. Appointments are seen from 8:00- 5:00 with a 1-hour lunch. An additional 30 minutes is added to lunch block to catch up on notes and call backs if needed. There is an after-hours emergency clinic in town for small animal emergency cases, which lends to an excellent work-life balance. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic with excellent communication skills.
