Systems Architect

Role Overview An opportunity is available for a Systems Architect to assist with the design and implementation of advanced security solutions across multi‑cloud and hybrid environments. This role focuses on securing data pipelines and cloud‑native applications, ensuring robust protection of sensitive data. The position provides technical and functional support across multiple security domain areas, supporting tools and technical controls to minimize security risks. Key Responsibilities Support the secure deployment and integration of cloud and data security applications in a regulated environment. Architect and automate CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure‑as‑Code (IaC) templates to support secure application development and deployment. Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including cloud engineers, infrastructure, and risk management, to embed security into the full application lifecycle. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to cloud infrastructure and services. Analyze, design, develop, and support all major information systems. Participate in determining the strategic direction of systems, including protocols, tools, languages, and databases. Provide applications and administration expertise in multiple areas, including UNIX‑based servers and relational databases. Required Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or comparable experience. Experience: 5+ years of working experience with cloud technologies or data engineering. Technical Skills Experience working in a multi‑cloud team environment. Experience with application deployment using CI/CD and IaC pipelines. Experience in cloud computing and utilizing public cloud data stores like AWS S3, Azure Blob, and Azure Files, along with various databases. Knowledge of identity and access management (IAM), secret management, and encryption techniques. Knowledge of security measures for both data at rest and data in motion. Experience with Kubernetes, microservices, and/or serverless computing. Ability to support the end‑to‑end execution of application development and integration of diverse applications. Preferred Qualifications Certifications such as Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, or CCSK are considered beneficial. — This position is located in Cincinnati, Ohio (Onsite).
