Supply Chain Business Analyst

This position is considered office-first. An office-first employee can flex between in-office work and working from home based on personal or professional need, at the discretion of their supervisor. An office-first employee maintains an office presence at least three days per week at their designated Scooter’s Coffee office location. Scooter’s Coffee is headquartered in Omaha, NE. The successful candidate lives in Omaha, NE. Relocation is not available for this role. Description The Supply Chain Business Analyst is responsible for supporting the implementation and optimization of WMS systems, improving business processes, supporting warehouse projects, and driving continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain network. This role partners with all Supply Chain and IT teams to enhance operational efficiency, system performance, and overall supply chain effectiveness. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Act as the primary liaison and key implementation partner for the new Warehouse Management System (WMS), Softeon. Collaborate with IT and warehouse teams to ensure a smooth and successful implementation of the new WMS system. Maintain documentation of supply chain processes (SWI), procedures (SOP), and workflows. Analyze operational data and key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify trends, root causes, and opportunities for improvement. Continuously review and optimize business processes to enhance operational efficiency and productivity. Work closely with supply chain optimization and inventory teams to align processes and improve overall supply chain performance. Support the implementation of new WMS systems, ERP upgrades including testing, training, and post-implementation support for DC and support center staff. Monitor system performance and elevate issues while providing recommendations for enhancements or adjustments as needed. Partners with departmental leaders to understand operational challenges and opportunities. Make recommendations and support initiatives that enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety across the logistics network. Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to execute projects on time and within budget. Support initiatives to standardize processes across multiple DCs. Identify areas for improvement, implement standardized practices, streamline processes and monitor performance metrics to ensure consistency and efficiency. Proficient in monitoring and overseeing process changes and cost reductions, within direct and indirect teams Partner cross-functionally with all supply chain teams to analyze data and metrics to measure the effectiveness of process improvements and make data-driven decisions. Demonstrates capability to effectively garner support from various stakeholders across multiple functions. Ensure all logistics operations strictly adhere to food safety regulations and standards. Assist in developing comprehensive process manuals for various aspects of the Scooter’s Supply Chain. Continuously update and refine manuals to reflect best practices and regulatory changes. Other duties as assigned Qualifications 2-4 years of warehouse/distribution leadership or applicable experience 2-4 years of WMS experience (WHS) – Strongly Preferred Previous experience in continuous improvement, lean management and process auditing – Strongly Preferred Proven track record of improving process and utilizing continuous improvement tools to improve performance and efficiencies in a warehouse environment Strong understanding of warehouse management systems (WMS), with experience in implementing or managing WMS implementations. Excellent project management skills with the ability to assist in leading cross-functional teams and deliver results. Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations. Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills. Detail Oriented, self-motivated, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment Ability to work cross-functionally with departments across the organization Proficient in Microsoft Offices and Excel Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, continuous improvement methodologies, or process mapping is preferred.
