HVAC/R TechnicianPosition HighlightsDepartment: Plant OperationsHours: 40.00 per weekShift: Days, 1st ShiftPosition Summary:The HVAC/R Technician is responsible for the operation, monitoring and maintenance of HVAC/R and related physical plant equipment and systems throughout the healthcare system.Must be reliable and perform at a high level of efficiency, while assuring compliance with all applicable codes and regulations.Responsible for a broad spectrum of HVAC/R equipment including; large institutional and commercial heating and cooling system as well as some light commercial and cafeteria refrigeration equipment.Works in partnership with other Engineering and Contractor staffPeriodically work off shifts and weekends as requested by supervisorWill respond during off-hours call in to address system failures or other emergencies.Skills:Comprehensive knowledge in the operation and maintenance of all types of HVAC/R equipment.Excellent troubleshooting skillsProficient with various computerized building management systems.
