Prepares and supports journal entries for all non‑system entries. Participates in the completion of the Month End Close Checklist for all assigned action items to ensure that the state meets all corporate timelines. Maintains appropriate internal control safeguards over accounting functions. Provides support to department managers, administration, and physicians in the preparation, understanding, and use of financial information. Prepares the monthly reporting package and draft of the Management Discussion & Analysis document. Analyzes all financial results and summarizes findings with recommendations when appropriate. Supervises clerical staff as assigned. Reviews payroll data and other analysis prepared by staff. Performs EOB analysis as requested. Reconciles all bank and intercompany accounts. Performs other reasonably related duties as assigned. Salary Level $130,000-$180,000 annually Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Minimum eight years of experience in fiscal management. Three years of public accounting experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred. CPA preferred. Physical Demands Requires sitting for long periods of time. Some bending and stretching required. Adequate finger dexterity and feeling to perform keyboarding and repetitive motions involving the wrists, hands, and fingers. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Must be able to view computer screen and printed material accurately. Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 lbs.
