Regional Recruitment Counselor (Remote - Florida)

Overview The Regional Student Recruitment Counselor (RC) is a role within Embry‑Riddle Aeronautical University’s Enrollment Management department. The RC engages prospective students through phone, email, virtual and in‑person outreach and builds relationships with civilian, military, and corporate partners. The position focuses on the state of Florida and requires the candidate to reside in Florida full time. Responsibilities Maintain contact with prospective students and leads via phone, email, Salesforce (CRM), and marketing materials. Assist in developing a regional strategy to represent the university at forums and meet prospective students. Attend local, regional, and national college, transfer, and military fairs; select and recruit at these events. Arrange and visit community colleges, industry partners, and dual enrollment locations. Conduct university presentations (virtually and in‑person) for prospective students and businesses. Evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment and engagement activities and events. Serve as a brand ambassador, messaging and public relations representative. Participate in local events to establish contacts, promote programs, and recruit students. Foster relationships with Education Service Officers, HR managers, training managers, and enrollment/marketing liaisons. Collaborate with the Assistant Director of Student Recruitment and other enrollment departments to coordinate recruitment and admissions activities. Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrate strong organizational skills, keen attention to detail, and ensure adherence to university policies. Occasional lifting of 40‑50 pounds. Employment Conditions Travel as needed; may work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must possess and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record; some assignments may require a Class C (CDL) license. Must meet the university’s approved drivers standards. Qualifications High school diploma or GED with solid grammar, spelling, composition, and basic math skills. Analytical skills and in‑depth knowledge of information systems. Technical proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook) and internet applications. Excellent customer service skills. Preferred: experience in marketing/advertising.
