You’ll build the job routers that turn a print into a manufacturing plan — accurate estimations, the right machine selections, and work instructions the shop floor can actually execute — while helping resolve the day-to-day scheduling and priority calls that keep production moving. It’s a role with real influence: your routers set the standard the floor works from, and you’re involved across the full lifecycle of a job, from quoting through execution. What you'll be doing

• Build proficient, high-quality, cost-effective job routers — including accurate time estimations, machine selections, and detailed work instructions
• Review historical quotes for similar/exact parts and their variations, assessing profitability for accurate quoting and routing practices
• Support project engineers by joining project kick-off meetings as needed, providing technical support to the team
• Help resolve scheduling and priority conflicts at machining centers, communicating changes to supporting personnel
• Assist CNC Programmers with tooling purchases for released job routers, as necessary
• Review quote data to ensure it's processed by customer due dates, allowing time for management review
• Create, document, and implement continuous improvement procedures to support growth within the manufacturing department
• Mentor and motivate a positive shop floor culture

What we're looking for

• Able to translate a print into a router that's accurate, efficient, and easy for the floor to follow
• Comfortable under pressure — quoting deadlines and schedule conflicts don't rattle you
• Self-directed and able to deliver under pressure, meeting customer and management deadlines
• A highly motivated self-starter, comfortable operating independently and with a team
• Detail-oriented enough to catch a profitability or estimation issue before it becomes a bigger problem
• Able to act professionally at all times
• Able to comply with the role's physical requirements

Pay, benefits and schedule

Pay is $100,000–$125,000/year, depending on experience. Candidates with advanced experience or specialized expertise may be considered above the posted range. 1st shift, Monday through Friday.
