Job Title: Radiologic Technologist-Computed Tomography

Location: Hospital or Ambulatory Mobile Unit

Job Summary: Under general supervision, specializes in the performance of computerized tomographic radiological procedures on patients. May perform general diagnostic radiology examinations. Performs related duties as required.

Required Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is required.
• Must maintain required hours of continued medical education.
• BLS certification.
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) and the advanced registry in Computed Tomography (CT) or registry-eligible.
• Must meet or exceed core customer service responsibilities, standards, and behaviors as outlined in the HFHS’ Customer Service Policy, including communication, ownership, understanding, motivation, sensitivity, excellence, teamwork, and respect.
• Must practice customer service skills through ongoing training and in-services.
• Possess personal qualities such as being self-directed, flexible, committed to the team concept, demonstrating teamwork, initiative, and willingness to learn.
• Open to new learning experiences and accepting diversity without judgment.

Additional Information:

• May work in the hospital with a fixed unit or in an ambulatory Mobile Unit at one of the Medical Centers.
• Potential exposure to radiation if proper precautions are not utilized.
• May be exposed to high-voltage equipment and potentially contagious patients.
• Occasionally may lift and/or move equipment and/or patients exceeding 10 lbs.
