Job Description: Wiring up new construction homes per code Key Responsibilities Layout of electrical per plans and local codes Insure all electric is installed per plan and code Choose an array of tools and materials according to the repair work that needs to be done Read and interpret blueprints and cabinet details to insure correct location of electrical Follow architectural drawings to determine installation of wiring systems Install a variety of electrical system components such as lighting, switches, circuits, panels and outlets Identify hazards or defects in electrical systems by performing periodic inspections Plan layout of electrical wiring and equipment keeping in mind local building codes and project specifications Direct the work of apprentices to ensure that work orders are handled properly Overtime paid on piece rate Earning potential based on experience, ability, and accuracy Skills, Knowledge and Expertise 2+ years of hands-on electrical experience High School Diploma or Equivalent Strong problem-solving skills with a "whatever it takes" mentality Valid driver's license required with clean driving history Must be willing to undergo pre-employment screenings, including criminal background check, driving record, and drug screen Benefits Paid Time Off - Enjoy 9 paid holidays and accrue additional PTO for a healthy work-life balance.
