Job Description

We are hiring Housekeepers to join our hospital team in Valhalla, NY . We are looking for dependable, hardworking individuals who take pride in maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary environments.

Previous housekeeping, environmental services (EVS), janitorial, custodial, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience is a plus, but qualified candidates with a strong work ethic are encouraged to apply.

Available Shifts

• 3:00 PM–11:00 PM – Majority of positions
• 7:00 AM–3:00 PM – Remaining positions

Important: Candidates must be available to complete training during the day shift .

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize hospital areas, rooms, common areas, and assigned spaces.
• Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures.
• Properly handle cleaning supplies and equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment.
• Follow hospital safety and infection-control procedures.
• Complete assigned cleaning tasks in a timely and professional manner.
• Work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Ability to work in a hospital environment.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical cleaning duties throughout the shift.
• Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
• Must be available to train during the day shift.
• Previous housekeeping, EVS, janitorial, custodial, hotel, or commercial cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
