Description:
We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Critical Care RN.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in the specialty area is required.
RNs may take assignments in one of the critical care areas or float to the ICU stepdown depending on census and need.
The critical care units include surgical, neuro, and cardiac intensive care.
Required certifications include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
Preferred certifications include TNCC and CRRT.
Basic dysrhythmia testing competency is also required.
Daily patient ratios are 1 nurse to 2 patients.
Candidates must be willing to float within the hospital or to nearby affiliate hospitals based on volume and census.
RNs must be available to work every third weekend and 2 out of 3 holidays.
Special requirements include managing critical procedures and equipment.
Interdisciplinary support is available from various services such as physical therapy and respiratory.
The patient population includes adults and geriatrics with diagnoses such as post-surgery and trauma.
