Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) – Endovascular

Location: Portland, OR 97213
Job Type: Contract
Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Day | 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
Schedule: 3x12 Hours | 36 Hours/Week
Local Candidates: Accepted
Traveler Candidates: Accepted
On-Call: Required

Pay Rate:

Traveler: $50- $55

Local: $45- $50

Required Qualifications:

• NBSTSA Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification — Required
• Minimum 2 years of recent Surgical Technologist experience — Required
• Previous travel experience — Required
• Endovascular experience — Preferred
• Epic EMR experience — Preferred
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures
• Ability to anticipate surgeon needs and manage surgical instrumentation
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to participate in weekday and weekend on-call rotations

Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain sterile instruments and surgical supplies
• Scrub and assist during endovascular and vascular procedures
• Anticipate surgeon needs and provide appropriate instrumentation
• Perform accurate sponge, sharps, and instrument counts
• Maintain a sterile and organized surgical environment
• Document procedures and required information using Epic EMR
• Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures
• Follow infection-control and patient-safety standards
• Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team
• Participate in required weekday and weekend on-call rotations
