As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in the rehabilitation process of patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or chronic conditions. Your primary responsibility will be to assist licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans that promote mobility, reduce pain, and improve overall physical function. You will work closely with patients in an outpatient setting, providing hands-on support and encouragement throughout their recovery journey. Your compassionate approach will help foster a positive environment that motivates patients to achieve their rehabilitation goals. Minimum Qualifications:

• Associate's degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapy Assistant.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bilingual proficiency, English and Spanish.
• Experience working in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physical therapists in developing and implementing individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide direct patient care, including exercises, manual therapy, and modalities as directed by the physical therapist.
• Monitor patient progress and report any changes or concerns to the supervising physical therapist.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises, home care techniques, and safety precautions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with health care regulations.
