DeliverCareRx is committed to providing effective solutions and high touch customer service to ultimately improve patient outcomes while exceeding the needs of our partners and healthcare providers.Currently, DeliverCareRx is searching for experienced Pharmacy Technicians to work in our West Deptford, New Jersey, pharmacy. This role is responsible for assisting in processing, dispensing, and shipping of prescription medications to hospice patients with a focus on the date entry of the prescriptions.Key ResponsibilitiesThis position is ideal for those who love working in a fast-paced environment with great attention to detail. Key elements of the role can include:Enter prescriptions and verify appropriate informationProvide daily support to pharmacistsResolve customer issues, ensure accurate information is providedProcess refill and new prescriptions in a timely mannerManage outbound/inbound faxes to physiciansFocus on quality assurance to correctly input physician orders and to prevent medication errorsProvide high quality customer service to patients and caregivers over the phoneUtilize sound judgment to make appropriate decisions in the best interest of patients and the companyRestock and organize workstations to maintain a clean work environmentAssist with inventory management functions including, but not limited to cycle counts, inventory, receiving and put awayPackage and ship ordersCount and fill medication orders with 100% accuracyCompound medications that are not commercially availablePrepare medications with special packaging requirements like bubble packing, pre-filled syringesComplete other duties as assignedRequired Skills and AbilitiesOutstanding ethical personal character with commitment to compliance and integrityAnalytical and operational process skillsJudgment/decision-making capabilityAbility to manage multiple priorities and prioritize dutiesHighly organized and efficient in a fast paced and growing environmentSuperior customer service and relationship skillsSelf-motivated and energetic team player with a positive attitudeWorking knowledge of computer technology for prescription managementHigh degree of accuracy in data entry and/or fulfillment while meeting volume targetsMaintain a positive, open and objective attitude towards others and learning new skillsAccountability and openness to feedbackEducation and Experience RequirementsHigh school diploma or GED certificateCurrent State Board of Pharmacy Technician licenseSuccessful completion of a pharmacy technician training course or a minimum of one year of on-the-job training preferredTechnician certification preferred (PTCB or ExCPT accepted)Drug-Free and Alcohol-Free WorkplaceDeliverCareRx is a drug-free workplace that conducts pre-employment, random, reasonable suspicion, and post-accident testing.
