About the Role
The Company is seeking a Head of Developer Experience and Product Enablement to lead the evolution of its enterprise product and software development lifecycle toolchain. This critical role is responsible for setting the strategy, vision, and roadmap for developer experience and product enablement, with a focus on integrating and owning the full lifecycle of enterprise software and product management platforms and tools. The successful candidate will be tasked with reducing fragmentation, closing handoff gaps, and making developer and product experience a measurable strategic capability. This includes establishing a single, connected system for product management and engineering, managing the toolchain as a coherent portfolio, and building a trusted partnership model with divisional technology and product leaders. Applicants for the Head of Developer Experience and Product Enablement role at the company should be proven enterprise technology leaders with a minimum of 15 years' of progressive technology leadership experience. The role requires direct ownership of modern product and software development lifecycle platforms, experience in consolidating overlapping toolchains, and a track record of rolling out AI-assisted development tooling. The ideal candidate will have excellent executive communication skills, the ability to translate technical complexity into business outcomes, and a strong background in building and leading global technology organizations. A background in highly regulated, security-conscious, or financial services environments is a plus, as is experience with enterprise platforms and integrations such as GitHub, Jira, Azure DevOps, and Figma. The role demands a leader who can maintain operational rigor, security, and continuous improvement across the enterprise toolchain, and who is adept at using automation, self-service, data, and AI to enhance developer experience.
