Structured Cabling Technician II
Required Skills & Experience: 1-2+ years of telecommunications, low-voltage or structured cabling experience. Experience with copper cabling installation, termination, testing and troubleshooting. Ability to read blueprints and project documentation. High school diploma or GED. Must be willing and able to travel 100%.
Job Description: Supporting data center insight, Global is seeking an experienced Structured Cabling Technician II to support large-scale data center & telecommunications structured cabling projects.
Install, route, terminate, label and test structured cabling. Install racks, backboards, patch panels, cross-connects and related hardware. Terminate jacks, 110/66 blocks and patch panels. Perform continuity testing and troubleshoot cabling issues. Install grounding for racks, equipment and cabling as required.
