Description Team Fishel , the Best Choice in Utility Construction since 1936, is hiring aSafety Coordinator for electric operations at our Plant City, FL office.The successfulcandidate will be a Journeyman Lineworker with at least five years verifiable experience inelectrical transmission/ distribution and be familiar with DOT and OSHA programs,regulations, and procedures. Responsibilities:

1. Develops,delivers, and documents safety training
2. Maintainssafety records
3. Conductsregular safety inspections to enforce safety programs and policies
4. Assists inidentifying and mitigating hazards at job site locations
5. Investigates accidents, injuries, and job damages
6. Monitorscontract service/inspection of fire and safety equipment
7. AssistsSupervisors in preparing materials for safety meetings
8. Travel isrequired

Skillsand Certifications:

1. Certifications inOSHA 500 and 510, and qualification to teach OSHA 10
2. Knowledge ofindustry safety practices, NESC, DOT, OSHA, ADOSH regulations, andguidelines
3. Certified andtrained in first aid, CPR, HAZCOM, PPE, and Pole Top Rescue
