20 Hours Per Week | Daytime | 6-Month Assignment

Southern Healthcare Services is seeking a compassionate and dependable  RN to provide one-on-one private duty nursing care for an infant in the Stone Mountain area.

Patient Overview

• Infant born  March 30, 2026 at 36 weeks gestation
• Hospitalized for approximately one month following birth
• G-tube dependent
• Followed by cardiology for ongoing  heart valve monitoring
• Requires attentive nursing care, monitoring, and support in the home

Schedule

• 20 hours per week / approximately 80 hours per month
• Daytime hours
• Two recurring days per week
• Flexible on which two days are selected
• Once established, we are looking for the nurse to maintain a  consistent weekly schedule
• 6-month commitment preferred

Nursing Responsibilities

• G-tube care, feeding, and monitoring
• Monitor for feeding tolerance and changes in condition
• Cardiac monitoring and observation in accordance with the plan of care
• Vital signs and ongoing assessments
• Medication administration as ordered
• Routine infant care during the shift
• Communicate changes or concerns to the family and clinical team
• Complete timely nursing documentation
• Follow the physician-ordered plan of care

What We're Looking For

• Current Georgia  RN license
• Comfortable providing hands-on care to an infant
• G-tube experience preferred
• Pediatric or private duty nursing experience preferred
• Dependable and able to commit to  two consistent daytime shifts each week
• Strong communication and documentation skills
