Reporting to the Chief Nursing Officer with close collaboration alongside the Surgical Services Medical Director and anesthesia leadership, the Nurse Director Operating Room will lead perioperative operations including Pre-Op, OR, PACU, and Sterile Processing, with strong administrative support in finance, data analytics, supply chain, and clinical education; responsibilities for the Nurse Director Operating Room include strategic planning, budget stewardship, service-line growth, block-time optimization, evidence-based protocols (ERAS, infection prevention, antimicrobial stewardship), staffing and scheduling, recruitment and retention, and continuous improvement using real-time dashboards—supported by friendly nurses, skilled technologists, and a diverse team of healthcare professionals dedicated to respectful collaboration and outstanding patient care.
