PREP/GENERAL UTILITY

We are seeking a Dishwashing & Kitchen Support Staff at Applebee's. The successful candidate will maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment and assist with food preparation. Responsibilities Maintain kitchen work areas, equipment, plateware, and utensils in a clean, sanitary, and orderly condition. Assist in food preparation procedures. Scrape and pre‑rinse food from dirty dishes and place them in the dishwashing machine. Wash pots, pans, and trays by hand and/or machine. Complete all assigned prep work. Remove trash and garbage to dumpster area. Wash work area tables, walls, refrigerator equipment, cooking equipment, and floors. Clean garbage cans and trash receptacles. Assemble, maintain, and break down the dish machine. Qualifications Transport cases up to 50 pounds up to 20 times per day. Ability to place plates, utensils, pans, and cases on both high and low shelves. Work indoors (90%) and outdoors (10%). Work frequently in a hot and damp environment. Respond to emergency situations to avoid imminent danger to self and others.
