Job Description Summary Responsible for providing technical and clinical support to the Imaging department. Operates X-ray equipment for diagnostic and/or therapeutic purposes. Monday – Friday 4/10 hour shifts 7am – 530 pm with 1-2 possible late shifts a week. Flexible call schedule (roughly 8 per month) varies with rotation. Additional Job Description Education: Graduation from an accredited school of radiologic technology. Experience: At least two years of modality specific work experience required. Registration/Certification Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT). Licensure from the South Carolina Radiation Quality Standards Association is required. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) required, either a certification from an American Heart Association (AHA) BLS for Healthcare Providers (or AHA recognized equivalent) or an American Red Cross CPR/AED for Professional Rescuer and Healthcare Provider. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred. Skill Set Fully competent in advanced modality skill sets and flexible to rotate.
