KVC Missouri Residential CareThe Custodian provides custodial services for designated buildings.Education: High School Diploma or EquivalentQualifications:Possess a current, valid MO class F driver's license and meet the Great Circle requirements for driver's insuranceDemonstrated ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English language proficiently.Experience:Demonstrated high degree of reliability and ability to work independentlyPreferred experience working with children and families in a trauma informed environmentMajor Duties:Follow housekeeping schedule and scope of work as outlined by supervisorMaintains and cleans all floors, walls, glass surfaces, picking up debris, sweeping, mopping, wiping down, scrubbing and vacuuming surfacesCleans, monitors, and maintains restrooms, break rooms, offices, classrooms, corridors, entryways, walking areas and common use areasEmpty trash receptacles replace liners and places trash in dumpstersReplenish personal care products and sanitary suppliesSpot clean mats, flooring, including carpets and uses janitorial equipment such as extractors, scrubbers, buffers, commercial vacuums and shampoo machinesWipe down chairs/sanitizing chairs, countertops, desks, light switches, light lenses, door handles, door jambs, railings, doors, stalls and fixturesAbout KVCKVC Missouri is a nonprofit child placing and behavioral health agency with a long legacy of compassionately serving children and families.KVC Missouri's Residential Treatment program offers therapeutic services in a 24/7-supervised facility for children and teenagers with acute emotional and behavioral problems.KVC provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
