Warehouse Worker

JOB SUMMARY:

We are hiring a Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate is a quick learner who can retain process knowledge and is detail-oriented. The candidate will pick, pack, and ship orders, as well as receive and put away new product as it arrives. This role is based on business needs, working onsite in Rigby, ID, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Inspect arrivals against packing lists for quantity verification.
• Monitor and inspect inventory levels for accuracy.
• Initiate proper placement of shipment.
• Manage bin locations.
• Fill orders by using a digital scanner and hand pick method.
• Reliably retrieve items in the warehouse to be processed and shipped.
• Work with shipping program to ship appropriate orders to customers.
• May assist in processing and repackaging returned items.
• Accomplish all tasks as appropriately assigned or requested.
• Work with internal customers to complete special projects assigned.

SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school Diploma or GED required
• Must be able to read and follow instructions
• Must have ability to perform basic math calculations (skill levels normally acquired through the completion of high school)
• Required to wear Safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, long pants and steel-toe shoes. Safety glasses will be provided by the company.
• Required to use an approved safety knife, which will be provided by the company.
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check prior to start date.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able to lift, push, & pull 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand or walk most of all of the day.
• Must be able to work in hot and cold environments.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advanced notice.
• Standard warehouse environment with forklifts, pallet jacks and rolling carts.

Base Pay Range:
$17.56 - $20.25
