Application Deadline 07/12/2026 Address 13300 Crossroads Parkway North Job Family Group Commercial Sales & Service Job Overview Generates lending and fee income through Small Business Administration (SBA) sales for an assigned territory. Works in partnership with other sales teams and Relationship Managers to develop and expand business relationships. Oversees the origination, processing, and funding of SBA lending solutions in compliance with internal control standards and adherence to audit, regulatory, and compliance policies. Responsibilities Generates new business through establishing internal banking partnerships, outside networks, and referrals sources; expands existing customer relationships through cross‑selling products and services. Collaborates with internal partners to develop and implement marketing plans that drive growth of an assigned sales territory; supports the promotion of all product lines offered in assigned market. Maintains a referral source database for marketing purposes. Makes contacts with internal partners, centers of influence (COIs) and prospective clients to identify, negotiate, and structure lending transactions. Maintains and applies a thorough understanding of the bank's credit policy, client eligibility and all necessary business practices to ensure accurate and complete loan application packages. Helps determine business priorities and best sequence for execution of business / group strategy. Provides competitive feedback to leadership regarding current policies and practices. Participates in projects and other activities in order to improve the customer experience. Liaises between clients and departments across the organization to resolve issues and provide product support and expertise. Monitors and tracks performance, and addresses any issues. Executes work to deliver timely, accurate, and efficient service. Focus is primarily on business/group within BMO; may have broader, enterprise‑wide focus. Exercises judgment to identify, diagnose, and solve problems within given rules. Works independently on a range of complex tasks, which may include unique situations. Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed. Qualifications Typically between 4 - 6 years of relevant experience and post‑secondary degree in related field of study or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge and understanding of SBA products, lending process and directives, credit risk policies and standards, and applicable regulatory requirements. Excellent interpersonal, sales, customer service, and negotiation skills. Knowledge and understanding of CRM tools. Technical proficiency gained through education and/or business experience. Data driven decision making - In‑depth. Salary $63,300.00 - $117,200.00 Pay Type Salaried Benefits The above represents BMO Financial Group's pay range and type. Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part‑time roles will be pro‑rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group's expected target for the first year in this position.
