Physiatry/Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation Physician

LifePoint Rehabilitation, in partnership with Mary Greeley Medical Center , is seeking a Medical Director to provide clinical and program leadership for its Acute Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit in Ames, Iowa .

This leadership opportunity combines inpatient rehabilitation practice with medical director responsibilities, allowing you to influence patient outcomes, drive program quality, and support the continued growth of a well-established rehabilitation service. The Medical Director will work closely with an interdisciplinary team focused on helping patients regain independence and return to their highest level of function.

Qualifications

• MD or DO with an active, unrestricted medical license or ability to obtain Iowa licensure.

• Board certified and maintaining certification through a nationally recognized specialty board.

• Eligible for and in good standing with the hospital medical staff.

• Demonstrated training and experience in rehabilitation medicine through one of the following:

  • Completion of a PM&R residency;

  • Completion of a rehabilitation fellowship; or

  • At least two years of experience managing inpatient rehabilitation patients as part of a multidisciplinary care team.
