DC Associate

About Worldpac Worldpac, a leading name in automotive parts distribution, is looking for a DC Associate to be a vital part of our warehouse. This role involves picking, packing, staging parts, utilizing hand‑held RF scanners, and moving boxes throughout the distribution center. The DC Associate has overall responsibility for receiving and moving materials within the warehouse. What You Will Contribute at Worldpac Mark pallets with identifying store information. Use the computer/RF to enter records. Operate equipment such as pallet jack, forklift, etc. Use a voice picking system. Keep the work area neat, clean and hazard free. Use a handheld radio frequency device (R.F. Unit). Maintain consistent, reliable attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned. What You Should Have Education : High School/secondary school diploma or general education degree (GED) / homeschool equivalency Must‑Have Skills Must be at least 18 years of age. Eligible to work in the country for which you are applying. Ability to work on various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. Read and interpret documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals. Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Nice‑to‑Have Skills Prior warehouse training or experience is preferred but not required. Physical / Work Environment Expectations The job requires standing, walking, using hands and fingers, reaching with arms, talking and hearing, frequently stopping, kneeling, and crouching, occasionally sitting, climbing, or balancing; must regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds; requires specific vision abilities including close vision, distance vision, and ability to adjust focus. Worldpac expects to pay a base salary in the range provided on this job posting. Generally, we look to bring in candidates around the 50th percentile of the advertised range. Within the range, individual pay will be determined by factors such as job‑related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
